Solar Energy Heat Utilization Technology

New High-efficient Solar Energy Collectors

1.        Background

Development and utilization of the abundant solar energy, which results in no any or little pollution, is not only an urgent supplementary to the energy in the present stage, but also a foundation of energy structure in the future. Application of solar energy has entered a new stage of development in the world. In the utilization systems of solar-energy heat, an important crucial technology is how to high efficiently collect sunlight and converse into thermal energy. In China, plate solar energy collectors and full-glass vacuum tube solar-energy water heaters have already formed into a production industry. In the recent 20 years, the output of production increased year by year with its annual output more than 800,000 square meters. For the last several years, China has successfully developed a heat-pipe type of vacuum tube water heaters which can live up to international advanced standard and can be applied in good prospects. However, heating of solar energy in China are applied mostly in low temperature. During ¡°the Ninth Five-year Plan¡± period, solar energy utilization should expand to the medium and high temperature. So, it is necessary to conduct research in and develop new high-efficient solar energy collectors.
 

2.        Objectives

The objective is to research, develop and utilize the high-efficient solar energy collectors for the purpose of laying down technical foundation for progressive expansion of the heating range in utilization. Research in and develop four types of new high-efficient solar energy collectors, and apply them to solar energy air-conditioning system, solar energy industrial hot water system and solar energy power generation.

  • Straight-through vacuum tube solar energy collectors 

  • Concentric Sleeve-type vacuum tube solar energy collectors

  • Heat storage-type vacuum tube solar energy collectors

  • Light gathering-type vacuum tube solar energy collectors.

System Research and Demonstration Projects On Solar Energy Heat Utilization System 

1.      Background
Utilization of heat positions important in the utilization technology of solar energy. It is a comprehensive project. Achievements made in this aspect in the past were belonging to the low temperature hot water system of solar energy. One of the important development approaching in the utilization of solar energy is to develop the large scale utilization projects combining with the research on high temperature system of solar energy and heat supply system in the industry, among which, solar energy heat power generation has been an important channel to large-scale utilization of solar energy. In fact, only combination with industrial enterprises, can higher economic benefit be taken of in utilization of solar energy, can the advantage of utilization be given its fuller play and the significance of future energy be reflected.

2.      Objectives
2 demonstration projects of industrial heat utilization of solar energy are to be set up, with a power of 200 kilowatt and working temperature of 150-200
¡ã, and pilot scale of solar energy heat power generation is to be established, in order to expand the heat utilization of solar energy in China.
